Projects

Piuma

Developing
Web platform to create and share poems. It will be a kind of social network for poets and poetry lovers. While there are already services that offer this, none provide a good user experience while also being free, so this project aims to fill that need. I will be using Go (golang) to create the REST API server, while I will be building the web interface with the Nextjs framework. The official launch is scheduled for sometime in 2026.

FishkeepersHub

Paused
A web forum for aquarium enthusiasts and aquarists. In this forum, users can share their experiences, ask questions, and help other users. The challenge of this project is not only technical, but my idea is to find a way to make it grow and become an active and useful community for aquarium lovers, aiming for it to be self-sustaining and free to access. The web interface of the application is being created with Nuxt, while the backend is using Nestjs, and for the database, I will be using PostgreSQL. With this project, I will be able to refine my knowledge in both frameworks.

Mango

Web application for creating and managing personal notes. You can register, log in, and access your notes from any device. Built with Go for the backend, PostgreSQL for persistence, and HTMX for interactivity without complex SPAs. This project represents a philosophy of simplification: returning to fundamentals and demonstrating that the best solutions don't always require the most elaborate technologies.

Coin Convert Web App

A currency conversion web application that uses the open-source API Frankfurter to display information provided by the European Central Bank. The app offers currency conversion and historical data exploration, showing them in a line chart. It features a responsive design that adapts to various devices. The app offers a minimalist interface that facilitates navigation and understanding of the data. It was built with Nuxt and TypeScript, showcasing the integration of an external service into a web application while following good development practices.

Spark-Flask Docker Cluster

In this repository, I set up a configuration using Docker to establish a cluster environment with Apache Spark and Flask using Docker Compose. It includes detailed instructions on how to get started and scale the cluster according to your available resources. The cluster consists of a master node and a worker node, as well as a devcontainer for working on a backend with Flask. With this project, you can explore and experiment with distributed data analysis using Spark and use an API with Python, scaling it according to your needs.
